Privacy Policy

Affinity Cannabis Store Inc. (“we”) collects and uses personal information as BC’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) allows, and only for the purposes set out below.

What we collect

Name, email, phone, and billing and delivery addresses: to process and deliver your order.
Age confirmation: the site asks for your date of birth to confirm you are 19 or older. Your date of birth is checked in your browser and is not stored. Only a flag saying you passed is kept, for 30 days. On delivery, your ID is checked visually and not copied, unless the law requires it.
Order history: kept because BC cannabis retail rules require sales records.
Payment details: processed by Moneris. We do not store full card numbers.
Technical data: cookies and device data that keep the cart and checkout working, plus basic analytics.

How we use it

We use it to fill orders, verify age and eligibility, enforce purchase limits, meet legal and regulatory duties (including record keeping and responses to the LCRB or law enforcement where the law requires), and respond to you. We do not sell your personal information. Marketing messages are sent only with your consent, and only as cannabis advertising rules allow.

Who we share it with

We share it with service providers who help us run the business: Shopify (store hosting, which may store data outside Canada), Moneris, Canada Post, and our POS and inventory system. They may use it only for those services.

Retention, access and correction

We keep records for as long as the law requires, then destroy them securely. You can ask to see or correct your information, or withdraw consent for optional uses, by contacting our Privacy Officer by email at info@affinitycannabis.ca, or by mail at Attn: Privacy Officer, Affinity Cannabis Store Inc., 5708 Knight Street, Vancouver, BC V5P 2V3.
